PCR is passionately dedicated to alleviating the trauma experienced by children from displaced families and slums. Through initiatives like basic education, scholarships, and vocational training, we provide essential support, accompanied by compassionate psychological counseling. As part of our commitment to comprehensive healing, we're establishing a Comprehensive Crisis Centre, offering trauma healing services and mediation education programs.
TRAUMA HEALING CRISIS CENTER
Working towards establishing a comprehensive trauma healing crisis center to support survivors of war, sexual abuse, and displacement.
This center will offer trauma counseling, primary healthcare, and group support, along with entrepreneurship training for displaced women and youth. Additionally, the center will provide educational programs, scholarships, and vocational training for children from displaced families, helping them rebuild their lives and reduce trauma-related stress.
Through these efforts, the center aims to foster healing, resilience, and economic independence within vulnerable communities.
SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE INITIATIVES
Empowering women in agriculture and handwork, while leveraging the transformative power of sports and the arts, PCR extends its holistic approach to local communities, women's groups, schools, hospitals, and leaders of local communities and religious groups.
With your support, PCR aims to create a compassionate and resilient environment, transcending the impact of conflict and nurturing lasting peace where it's needed most.
YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR PEACEBUILDING
Preventing youth from joining militias by offering entrepreneurship opportunities that promote peacebuilding and community resilience.
In the pursuit of community resilience, our Youth Engagement in Peace-Building project fosters socio-therapy and economic support groups in North-Kivu and Ituri. Simultaneously, our research and support programs focus on improving maternal health for women and newborns, addressing critical needs in these vulnerable populations.
We strive to establish a society where people and communities are empowered with the skills to overcome conflict and take charge of their destiny.
